The T-Set

The complex numbers, isomorphic to the cyclic group C4, are generalized to ordered triplets (triternions) based on C6, A number t=(a+bj + ck) represents a point in 3-space. Iteration of the algorithm zz = zz^2 + 1 "extrudes" the Mandelbrot set into this 3D (T-set) form.

The Lattice Series (sample #1)

Elementary trigonometric functions, introduced into the T-Set formula, cause lattices to form. For the sine function, the nodes of these lattices (seen in samples #3 and #4) are connected by auric envelopes (visible in samples #1 and #2).
